Just a quick update. I've received my beamer and it looks to be working out nicely. I went with a BenQ MP515 ST projector and was a little worried it wouldn't fit into my table. Though its a tight fit, it does... fit I mean. ;)
I managed to setup the mirror and beamer in such a way that it covers the entire screen without much if any keystoning problems. In essence the mirror is setup in one half of the table, parralel to the long side of the table. The beamer is directly opposite it on a temporary rig which leaves just enough room to fit in the PS3 Eye webcam in the middle.
The sides of the table are still open but I'm planning to close those this weekend and experiment with various infra red LED setups to (hopefully) flood the table with infrared. I might have to get a new cam though since it is displaying a small dark spot since recent. Maybe the partial visible light filter I put in there somehow damaged the CCD or lens.
